Skin Care Guide
The amount of skin care products on the shelves and countless good advice may seem overwhelming for many and a bit confusing. We can easily understand that, and once you know your skin type, it is much easier to find the right products for your specific needs. A good tip is to wash your face in lukewarm water with a mild cleanser. After a few hours you can then evaluate whether your skin feels dry or combined/greasy. From there you can choose your cleansing product and moisture care. However, be aware that your skin type may change during the year, from e.g. Dry in winter to more combined in summer. Therefore, it is a good idea to notice how your skin responds to seasonal changes.
Dry skin
Dry skin can feel sensitive and "tight" after cleansing. You can experience itching and scaly skin, and if you use make-up, you may find that it "clumps together" on the surface of the skin. Many people will find that the skin can feel dry in the transition seasons. A good advice for this is to go for products that moisturize, soften and nourish the skin.
We recommend that you cleanse your skin with Ivy Aïa Cleansing Oil, and then give a moisture boost with Ivy Aïa Face Mist. Then finish with Ivy Aïa Face Cream Dry Skin and Ivy Aïa Eye Cream.
Sensitive skin
Sensitive skin can be red, dry and with a tendency to itch and skull. The skin feels irritated, painful and with redness, as with an allergic reaction. Here it is a good idea to go for products that soothe and moisturize the skin so that it becomes well -nourished at the same time.
We recommend that you cleanse your skin with Ivy Aïa Cleansing Oil and then provide a moisture boost with Ivy Aïa Face Mist. Finish your routine applying Ivy Aïa Face Cream Provitamine B5 and Ivy Aïa Eye Cream.
Normal / combined skin
If you have a normal combined skin type, you may experience, during the day, grease in the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin). You may also experience being more likely to get more pimples in that area, whereas the cheeks will be categorized as normal or dry. It is important to avoid drying your skin, but instead focus on exfoliating and moisturizing the skin to achieve balance.
We recommend that you cleanse your skin with Ivy Aïa Cleansing Mousse, followed by a moisture boost from Ivy Aïa Face Mist. Finish your routine by applying Ivy Aïa Face Cream Provitamine B5 or Ivy Aïa Oil-Free Moisturizer, and Ivy Aïa Eye Cream.
Oily / unclean skin
A oily skin can be characterized by either the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin) or the whole face is greasy, and there is also more inclination for pimples, pore plugs and blackheads. If you have oily skin, it is a good idea to avoid face cream containing extra oil, but added high moisture cream cream to soothe the skin and to keep the skin in balance.
We recommend that you double-cleaner with Ivy Aïa Cleansing Mousse twice, or with Ivy Aïa Cleansing Mousse the first time and then with Ivy Aïa Micellar Water. Give the skin a moisture boost with Ivy Aïa Face Mist and finish the routine by applying Ivy Aïa Oil-Free Moisturizer and Ivy Aïa Eye Cream.
Mature skin
A mature skin is not a skin type, but a condition the skin comes in, the older we get. Mature skin is characterized by the fact that it gets more wrinkles, pigment changes and loss of the elasticity of the skin occurs. A mature skin can be all of the above skin types, but most importantly for the ripe skin is that it needs moisture and nourishment to be kept in balance. It is recommended to use products that work regenerating and that add moisture.
We recommend that you cleanse your skin with Ivy Aïa Cleansing Mousse or Ivy Aïa Cleansing Oil according to skin type. Then give the skin a moisture boost with Ivy Aïa Face Mist and finish the routine by using Ivy Aïa Anti Age Face Cream and Ivy Aïa Eye Cream.
